After a historic FIFA U-17 World Cup, India has set its sights on the Olympics. We discuss whether India should host large sporting events, and how it impacts the country.

Aman Shah, who started his career as a reporter for Reuters, has worked in communications roles with a slew of sports organizations including Mumbai City FC, Premier Futsal, and, more recently, the 2017 FIFA Under-17 World Cup. He holds a Masters in Sport and Olympic Studies from Japan’s Tsukuba University. He is currently communications lead with a leading sporting excellence program.
